Swimming Pool Certificate of Compliance – Deadline Extended
Another one year extension has been placed on the swimming pool and spa compliance certification requirements for owners, as announced by the NSW Office of Local Government on the 26th of February 2015.
The date has been pushed forward from the 29th of April 2015 to the 29th of April 2016, allowing pool owners extra time to comply with the legislation before the sale or lease of their property. The purpose of the Swimming Pool register is to ensure safety standards are being implemented in accordance with the Swimming Pools Act 1992.
If you have any enquiries regarding the compliance of your pool or spa, please contact your strata manager.
